Overview
This document will outline how to fully setup Credit Card Processing Fees using the Product Fees module.
You will be able to charge your customers either fixed or percentage amounts of your choosing. Product level exclusions are supported as well!

1. Install Ebizio Checkout Application
Login to your BigCommerce store using Owner Level Account or a User with application install permissions.
In a new tab, navigate to https://www.bigcommerce.com/apps/ebizio-checkout/ and click "GET THIS APP"
2. Complete Ebizio Checkout Onboarding
Please complete the in-app onboarding steps.

3. Create Product Group
What Is a Product Group?
A Product Group is simply a collection of your BigCommerce products.
We will create a Product Group in order to apply Fees against only the items within your store that warrant one.
How To Create a Product Group
Navigate to the Ebizio Checkout app and click "Product Groups" within the sidebar.
Click "Add Product Group" then:
- enter your desired Group Name, this can be anything at all and will not be seen by your users.
- if you would like to apply your Credit Card Fee against all products within your store, check the "Include All Products in Store" box.
- click "Submit".
If you are not targeting all items within your store:
- add the products that should be charged a Credit Card Fee by clicking the "Add Category", "Add Product" and/or "Add SKU" buttons.
We can now create a Product Fee Rule and utilize our newly made Product Group!
4. Subscribe to Product Fees Module
Navigate to the Ebizio Checkout App from your BigCommerce dashboard by going to "Apps" → "Ebizio Checkout.".
Click the "Product Fees" link within the sidebar.
Click "Subscribe Now" and then "Submit".
5. Configure Product Fees Module
Navigate to the Ebizio Checkout App from your BigCommerce dashboard by going to "Apps" → "Ebizio Checkout.".
Click the "Product Fees" link within the sidebar.
Click the "Rules" tab and then the "Add Rule" button.
Enter all required fields:
- the Rule "Name" will be the text used for Fees added by this rule. In other words, this text will be visible to your customers via Checkout and Order data so be sure to name this field accordingly. You can further refine the Fee text within the Product Fees "Checkout Display" tab.
- choose the "Product Group" we created earlier in these instructions.
- you likely will want to NOT allow this Fee to be toggled on and off by the customer. If this setting is checked, your customers will be able to add and remove the Fee themselves from within the Checkout. While this is good for offering Shipping Protection or some other service, typically Credit Card fees are not optional.
- click "Submit" when done.
We can now go to our BigCommerce Storefront and test things!
Once adding products that will be charged a fee, navigate to the Checkout and you should see your Credit Card fee get added within the Checkout's Cart Summary.

6. Contact Sales
The configuration as it stands now will apply your Credit Card Fee to all orders regardless of the Payment Method used.
If you would like to dynamically have the Credit Card Fee applied only when a specific Payment Method is used within the Checkout, a custom Work Order will be needed to build this desired functionality.
