System Requirements
Are there any requirements for using the Ebizio Checkout?
Yes, your store must have the Optimized One-Page Checkout "Custom Checkout" option enabled. You should have this option already in your store unless you are currently using the BigCommerce "Developer Checkout". If this is the case you will need to switch to the "Optimized One-Page Checkout" before the custom feature can be enabled.
Please note that when switching to BigCommerce's Optimized One-Page Checkout, there are two considerations. First, all customizations and scripts that currently live on your Developer Checkout will be gone. Second, the Order Confirmation URL will change so you may have to update your analytics settings to accommodate. Additional information can be found on BigCommerce's Optimized One-Page Checkout informational page.
Will my existing Developer Checkout customizations work on the Ebizio Checkout?
It's very likely that any customizations done to the Developer Checkout will not work on the Optimized One-Page Checkout or our custom version of it. We cannot guarantee functionality either way and do not include carrying over previous customizations as included in the scope of this App.
Will my existing Optimized One-Page Checkout customizations work on the Ebizio Checkout by IntuitSolutions?
It's not possible for us to say as it will depend on many variables. Generally though, if the customization is living outside of the checkout code itself and simply interacting with the checkout, things should work. We cannot guarantee functionality either way and do not include carrying over previous customizations as included in the scope of this App.
Will my existing Theme based customizations work when using the Ebizio Checkout
Our custom checkout should not affect your existing Theme based customizations as running the Ebizio Checkout requires no modifications be made to your Theme files. We cannot guarantee functionality either way and do not include carrying over previous customizations as included in the scope of this App.
Can I setup the Ebizio Checkout on a sandbox store?
Yes, you can setup the Ebizio Checkout on a sandbox store however please note that you will have to subscribe and pay for any of the modules that you intend to use. Since there is essentially no "sandbox" store type within BigCommerce we must treat all stores equally, as if they are in production.

Ebizio Checkout Billing Policies
Is Ebizio Checkout free?
The app itself is free to download from the BigCommerce App Store at any time. In order to use the app, you will subscribe to any number of modules to add that feature set to your store. Each module requires a paid monthly subscription.
How does billing work for modules?
You can subscribe to any number of modules within Ebizio Checkout, and will be billed monthly for each module to which you subscribe.
Why do we bill separately for each module? Because we only want our customers to have to pay for what they need. If you don't need a particular module, no need to pay for it!
Are there any other fees or costs in addition to the monthly subscription(s)?
Nope! Just the monthly subscription rate(s).
When will I be invoiced?
When subscribing to modules, you will be invoiced on the day that you subscribe. Otherwise, you will be invoiced each month according to the date that your payment method was first added within the App. You can always check your next billing date by navigating within the App to
Subscriptions -> hover the "?" beside to "Monthly Total"
to the far right
How is my invoice amount calculated?
The invoice amount is determined by the modules that you choose to subscribe to. When subscribing, the amount will be prorated to reflect the time left before your next billing date. In other words, if you are 40% through your billing period you will only pay 60% of the module's cost at the time of payment. You will be charged the full amount on your next, full, billing period.
Is it easy to cancel a module subscription if I no longer need the functionality?
Yes, it is easy to unsubscribe from any module from directly within the app. Billing is always month-to-month and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Can I trial or try modules before buying them?
Yes, you may use nearly any of the Ebizio Checkout modules free for one month. Once your free trial period ends billing will start for any modules that you are still subscribed to.
Feel free to try any and all modules available then simply unsubscribe before your billing period ends to not be charged.

Payment and Shipping Method Settings
Will this checkout app replace my payment processor or shipping methods?
No. You will still need to have fully configured Payment Method and Shipping Settings in your BigCommerce back office. Some modules will leverage NEW payment and/or shipping methods that you will create, but these do not replace your existing Payment Processor.
Can my customers still checkout with PayPal, Amazon Pay, and other third party checkouts?
Yes! All other payment methods will remain available to your customers on the Ebizio Checkout.

Cancelling Modules / Uninstalling Ebizio Checkout
Can I cancel a module I no longer need?
YES! Simply update your Subscriptions for Ebizio Checkout from the app, and unsubscribe from your unneeded module.
Pro-Tip: If you are considering cancelling a module subscription, give us a call first! We would love to hear why it's not working out for you, and how we can improve our offering.
What should I do if my Checkout is broken?
In the unlikely event that your website’s checkout appears to be not working properly, you can quickly and easily turn off the Ebizio Checkout. Instructions can be found under "General Knowledge" -> "Turn off Ebizio Checkout".
None of your settings or configuration will be removed. Once you enable the checkout again, they'll automatically be active.
With the Ebizio Checkout disabled, you can now see if that has fixed the issue in your checkout. If things seem to be working again, submit a ticket to us to investigate the issue with the app (included in your support package). If things seem to still be broken, you should contact BigCommerce to investigate the issue

Known and Expected Errors
In Checkout "Unable to load Checkout configuration" Error
This Error occurs when the request for the Ebizio Checkout's access and configuration fails.
If a customer is seeing this error repeatedly this means that they have firewall settings or some third party ad-blocking extension that is preventing requests to our servers.
Knowing the exact fix for your customer is hard to determine as this is entirely something on their end and can vary greatly from user to user. The first ask should be to disable ad-blocking on the checkout page and to additionally whitelist the following domains:
- ebizio.com
- cdn.ebizio.com
